Victoria Kelley
A Faithful Life, A Lasting Legacy
Victoria Kelley, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away on August 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Queens, New York, on December 3, 1951, Victoria was the daughter of Frank and Rosemarie Costanza and the second oldest of four children. A proud Italian from Queens, she was known for her strength, loyalty, humor, generous spirit, and deep love for her family.
Above all, Victoria was a woman of unwavering faith. Her relationship with Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She began her days in prayer and Scripture, shared her faith freely with others, and lived with a deep belief in the sanctity of life and the importance of doing what was right, even when it was difficult. Her favorite verse, Psalm 118:24, reflected the joy and gratitude with which she sought to live: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Victoria had a gift for making people feel loved, safe, and at home. She loved to laugh, enjoyed the hunt for a good bargain, and had a heart of gold. She was fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to her family and friends. At a party, she was the first one there and the last one to leave - helping clean up, refusing to leave until everything was just right. She wanted to be everything for everyone - and somehow she was. You could always find her in the stands at one of her grandchildren' s plays, concerts or baseball games and she would always have balloons in tow and a purse full of gum. She was the everpresent force you could count on - the warm smile in the stands, the hug on a bad day and just the right scripture to lift your spirit.
Her greatest joy was her family. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, James, and is survived by her three children: Nikki Petix, mother of Anastasia, Alexandria, and Anthony, and grandmother of James Devon and Isabella; JP Petix, his wife Cassie, and their children Mikila, Kaden, and Ashlynn; and Samantha Garijanian, her husband Greg, and their children Jacob, Gabriel, and Grace. She is also survived by her siblings, Karen and John, extended family, and countless friends who were blessed by her love and friendship.
Victoria leaves behind a legacy of faith, laughter, courage, and devotion that will live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now home with the Lord she loved so deeply.
They will forever carry with them the memory of her prayers, her hugs, her laughter, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she poured into her family will continue.
