An online memorial you keep, not rent.

LoveKept puts the whole memorial in one place: the life story, photos from everyone who loved them, a guestbook anyone can sign, and the details of the service. No ads. No subscription. You pay once, and the page stays online.

The standards behind every page.

  • Made for more than one person to run

A single memorial has room for five people to run it together. A partner, brothers and sisters, grown children, or close friends each sign in under their own account and take on different parts of it: written memories, photographs, life events, and the order of service. Nothing hinges on one shared password making the rounds.

  • Photographs handled with real care

A lot of memorial sites shrink family photos down to a wall of thumbnails and leave it at that. On LoveKept every picture can carry its own caption, be grouped by the era of life it belongs to, be set to lead the gallery, and be replaced with a cleaner scan the day a better copy turns up.

  • No advertising anywhere on it

A memorial is the wrong place for display ads, paid funeral-home placements, or pixels that trail visitors from site to site. We rent ad space to no one, and whatever information people leave while visiting stays out of the hands of marketers. The page answers to the family, and to no one else.

  • An optional tree, planted for real

Adding a tree is one add-on among several, never the reason the page exists. When a family opts in, an actual tree goes into the ground through a reforestation partner, and a certificate comes back that documents it. A real seedling in real soil, not a forest graphic parked on the screen.

  • One $24 payment, and nothing after it

Building a memorial is free, and it goes live the moment you finish. The first 30 days run as a free trial with every feature turned on. Keep the page past that with a single payment of $24, which holds it online for good and removes the trial's 25-photo limit so you can add as many pictures as you want. No subscription, no yearly renewal, no premium tier waiting behind a paywall. You can even settle that payment as a gift for another family.

Plain answers before you begin.

These are the questions people send us before they set anything up, and a platform handling something this personal owes clear replies. Here is how each piece works in practice.

01

Where the AI stops

LoveKept gives you a free obituary writer, but all it ever produces is a draft. You hand it the facts about the person and it suggests wording; you can accept that wording, rework it, or throw it away. Someone in the family signs off on the final text before it reaches the public page. The model never publishes anything on its own.

02

What preservation actually covers

A preserved memorial carries no expiry date. The family can go on editing it, hand ownership to another relative, or take it down entirely whenever they decide. Nothing running in the background shelves quiet pages, walls them behind a fresh charge, or wipes them to reclaim storage.

03

Who is able to open one

You do not need to be next-of-kin to begin. A relative, a friend, or someone from the person's wider circle can open a memorial, and whoever does holds the owner role. From there they can add up to five collaborators to share the upkeep. No one verifies your relationship to the person, and no request is approved before the page goes live.

04

What gets a second look before publishing

Guestbook messages appear the instant they are written, though an owner who wants a calmer page can switch the guestbook off. Anything a guest sends to the timeline, whether a photo or a written memory, sits in a review queue until the owner clears it. The obituary is the owner's to publish directly, with no queue in the way.

Tree planting is an option, not the point.

Some families like to mark the loss with a tree, so the choice sits a couple of taps away. Take it and a real tree is planted through a reforestation partner working in areas stripped of their tree cover, with a certificate returned to you that records exactly what went in.

This is an actual planting, handled by people who do reforestation for a living, rather than a badge or an illustration sitting on a screen. And it stays optional the whole way through. A memorial on LoveKept is finished on its own terms, with nothing planted at all.

Why I built LoveKept.

Abdullah Nabeel

Founder, LoveKept

I have spent the better part of a decade building startups, but this one began somewhere far more personal. After losing someone I loved, I went looking for a good way to hold onto their story, and nothing I found felt right. The tools were cluttered, wrapped in ads, or asked for a monthly fee just to keep a memory online.

LoveKept is the memorial I wish had existed then. A calm, ad-free place where a life story, the photographs, and the people who loved them stay together, kept online for good. I am building it for families going through what mine went through.

LoveKept is independent, based in the United States, and has been running since 2026. No cemetery, funeral home, or aftercare provider holds a stake in it. A real person replies at support@lovekept.co

Build it free. Keep it for one payment. No subscription, ever.

It takes about ten minutes to set up a memorial page. The first 30 days are free, and one $24 payment after that keeps it online for good, with nothing recurring.
