Patricia Ann Brister

Patricia Ann Breiten Brister, lovingly known as Pat, Mom, Nana.. passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on August 3, 1949, she was the daughter of William Breiten and Virgie Dee Ramsey Breiten.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, Nana, cherished loved one and friend. She was a woman whose love extended far beyond the walls of her own home. Throughout her life, she opened her heart to family, friends, and countless others who became family by love rather than by blood. Her kindness, strength, and generous spirit left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, James “Jim” Brister; her daughter, Denise Jones; her brothers, Billy Joe, Charlie, and William; and her parents, William and Virgie Dee Breiten.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts: her sons, James “Rod” Brister and his wife, Cindy Jo; Justin Brister and his wife, Sheri; and Gary Baker and his wife, Chrislyn.

As well as her brother Richard Breiten.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Destiny, Nicole (husband George), Cody, Koalton (wife Shannel), Caleb(wife Shelby), and Trent, and her great-grandchildren, Alban, Kailynn, Desiree, Gaige, Brent, Collyn, Brice, Brantlee, and Alikos.

Pat also leaves behind numerous loved ones and a multitude of honorary family members whose lives were made richer simply by knowing her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, her love will continue through the family she cherished, the memories she created, and the many people she welcomed into her life. She will be remembered not only for the years she lived, but for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she brought together.

Her presence is deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew her, loved her and love her still.

Rest peacefully, Mom, Nana Your love lives on in all of us.
