I had the pleasure of playing and managing with David as a teammate in the Nebraska Senior Softball League as a member of the Muckdogs. David always had a great sense of humor and care free attitude. RIP David.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, David "Chucky" Brodersen. David passed peacefully at The Meadows at Ashland on July 31, 2026 in the early hours of the morning in Ashland, Nebraska, at the age of 74.
David is survived by sisters Joyce (Philip) Smith, Lori (Ed) Brodersen Rowswell, Shonna (Rob) Rice and brother Scott (Roxanne) Brodersen and many nieces, nephews.
David is preceded in death by father and mother Alvin and Darlene; sisters Gaye Lynn, Kathy and brother Danny.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10am on September 12, 2026, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Bellevue Nebraska, 2311 Fairview Rd. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David's life. He will be missed here on earth, alive forever in God's Kingdom and in our hearts. Rest in peace Chucky until we meet again in Heaven.
As a family we are requesting contributions in David’s name to Pilgrim Lutheran Church instead of sending floral arrangements. David attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church for many, many years and considered his church a major part of his home and family, thank you.
