Martha Ann Leon
Martha Ann Leon, a beloved mother, grandmother, resident of Pomona, California, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at Pomona Valley Hospital. Born on April 9, 1948, Martha lived a life define dedication, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. At seventy-eight years of age, she leaves behind a legacy of gentle strength that will forever be cherished by her family and the community she called home.
For over twenty-five years, Martha served her community as a switchboard operator. In this role, she was the steady voice on the other end of the line, guiding people with patience and care. This profession was a true reflection of who Martha was as a person: someone who listened deeply, connected people, and offered a reassuring presence. Her work was a daily practice of kindness and reliability that touched our lives. She is survived by two daughters Christina Leon and Regina Leon Walker, both of Pomona.
Martha’s legacy of love blossomed further through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren: Tyrone, Terrell, Kanel, Gabrielle, and Sophia. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, each of whom brought joy to her life. In addition to her immediate family, Martha leaves behind many other family members and dear friends who were fortunate enough to experience her warmth and kindness.
As her family gathers to remember her, they hold tight to the memory of a woman who gave so much of herself to others. Martha Ann Leon lived a life of quiet significance, and her memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit of connection and love will endure in the family she built.
