Herman, age 58, passed away on October 30, 2026.

Born on February 27, 1968, Herman lived a life filled with both challenges and cherished moments. He will be remembered for his unique personality, his sense of humor, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

Herman enjoyed spending time with family, music, and appreciating life’s simple pleasures. Those closest to him will remember the laughter, conversations, and moments that made him who he was.

Above all, Herman was a father, a friend, and someone whose presence will be deeply missed by many:

He is survived by his loving children Jessica Hammond(Kevin), Trason Hammond, Justus Hammond(Tara) and Grace Cica. His grandson Caiden Porter as well as his brothers Shawn Hammond, John Anes and sister in law Dawn Anes and stepfather Bert Bloem - and many other family members, and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Sharon Kaye Bloem and his father Herman Hammond Sr as well as his brother Ben Anes and sister in law Lee Hammond.

Though his time here has come to an end, the memories he leaves behind will remain with those who loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on November 21st, 2026 at 2pm held at Calvary Church of Wyoming (3500 Byron Center Ave. SW Wyoming, MI. 49519)

In lieu of flowers being sent, the family is asking for donations to the church for holding this celebration of life.
