With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Trisha Carol Maloon on August 24, 2026, in Flint, Michigan. Born on January 16, 1956, Trisha was lovingly adopted by her parents Wayne and Neva Maloon, whom she now joins in eternal rest, along with her life‑long partner Russel Sheltraw.
Trisha’s greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her two sons, Jeremy Forsyth (oldest) and Dustin Forsyth (youngest), and her seven cherished grandchildren: Makayla Forsyth, Brandon Morin‑Forsyth, Lexis Morin‑Forsyth, Donavan, Shawna Forsyth, Brian Forsyth, and Lydia Forsyth. She is also survived by her sister Sheri Stainton Hall, along with countless friends, loved ones, and all who were touched by her kindness.
Trisha’s light was unmistakable, gentle, steady, and full of love. It will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who knew her, guiding us with the warmth she shared so freely. Her memory will remain with us always.
