In Loving Memory of Chrissy Clayton
Chrissy Clayton, a vibrant and deeply loving woman who brought warmth and happiness to everyone she met, passed away on August 2, 2026. Born on July 11, 1957, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Chrissy lived a life defined by her entrepreneurial spirit, her devotion to her family, and an enduring joy that she shared generously with the world. She was a woman of remarkable strength who met life with a smile, leaving behind a legacy of love and determination.
Chrissy was the cherished daughter of Millie and Richard, the Russos, whose family held a prominent place of respect in their community, having had the largest funeral home service in New Jersey. Growing up with this background of service to others, Chrissy learned early on the value of community and care. Her own journey eventually took her to the spotlight when she was crowned Miss Florida, a title that reflected not only her outward grace but also the bright, magnetic personality that would guide her throughout her life.
Though she was married three times, Chrissy used her life experiences to grow into an exceptionally independent, strong business woman. She channeled her ambition and creativity into the wellness industry, becoming a highly successful entrepreneur. Her true professional passion was succeeding in the Med Spa world, a dream she realized by owning and operating four thriving med spas throughout South Florida. To Chrissy, her business was not just a career, but a way to help others feel beautiful and cared for, and she poured her heart into making each location a success.
Above all of her professional achievements, Chrissy’s greatest passion was being a mother. Although she experienced divorce, her devotion to her family never wavered, and she embraced her role as both a mother and a stepmother with open arms. She was blessed with three beautiful daughters: Emily, Katherine, and Sarah, who sadly preceded her in death. Chrissy was a pillar of support for her daughters, always pushing her girls to strive for their dreams and to become strong, independent individuals.
Her family continued to grow and bring her immense happiness as she became a grandmother. Chrissy adored her three grandchildren, cherishing every moment she spent with her grandson and her two granddaughters. She enveloped them in the same unconditional love and warmth that she had given to her own children, teaching them by example what it means to live life with a happy heart and a generous spirit.
Those who knew Chrissy best will remember her many passions, which made her home a place of constant joy and activity. She loved to express herself through dancing, finding freedom and happiness in movement. Chrissy was also a great cook, creating delicious meals that brought her family together around the table. Her home was made even livelier by her beloved pets, her Dalmatian named Fred and her Husky named Blue, who were her constant and loyal companions.
Chrissy Clayton lived a life that was as full as it was beautiful. She was a happy soul, a loving mother, a dedicated business owner, and a true friend to many. Her strength in the face of life’s challenges, her laughter, and her deep love for her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a family who will continue to strive in her honor, carrying her bright spirit forward in their own lives.
