Terry Keith Thurman

Terry Keith Thurman formally of South Pekin, went to his Heavenly home to be with his Heavenly Father and to be with his wife Sharon on October 3, 2026. Terry was Born in Peoria Illinois to Lester Thurman and to Delores Dunlap Thurman. He married Sharon Porchie on Aug 30,1972 in Peoria. They adopted a son in 1992

She proceeds him in death and his parents and 2 brothers Cecil Thurman and Alan Thurman 

Surviving Is 2 sisters Alice Simmons and Dorothy Click of Dayton OH, Sisters in laws Liz Thurman of Virginia Beach,Va and Brenda and Frank Lee of Forest City IL, One son of South Pekin,IL

He has a lot of nephews and nieces.  

Terry went to Manual High School in Peoria 

Terry was a member of South Pekin Southern Baptist he became a pastor in the early 90’s

He worked cleaning business over the years he also worked for McDonald in Creve Coeur from 1994-2010 he was a manager before retiring

Terry loved being around family and church

Terry would brighten up the room with his sense of humor and jokes he also loved watching Star Trek sci-fi movies reading the Bible murder mysteries. Terry’s sisters wanted to thank Chad and Rachel for all they have done these pass 7 years 

Celebration of life will be held at a later date in February
