Alexsandria Monroe
A beautiful soul with big blue eyes and a beautiful smile
In Loving Memory of Alexsandria Deborah Morrison Monroe
August 10, 1964 – October 30, 2026
Alexsandria Deborah Morrison, lovingly known as Lexi, was born on August 10, 1964, to Robert and Beverly Morrison. Tragically, she passed away on October 30, 2026.
Lexi attended Meridian High School, graduating in 1982. She went on to attend Boise State University (BSU), where she studied audio engineering while pursuing a second major in computer science.
Lexi's professional journey reflected her dedication, determination, and pride in everything she did. She spent 28 years working at Hewlett-Packard (HP), followed by two years at Cisco. Eventually, she embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and ventured out on her own, becoming a business owner.
On March 17, 1986, Lexi married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life, Sebastian Monroe. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Andrew and Bella. Their marriage and home were grounded in love, family, and mutual respect. They treasured family vacations, spending time at their cabin, taking the boat out, fishing, and simply enjoying life's moments together. More than anything, they loved being at home, surrounded by the family they had created.
Their home became the heart of countless family gatherings and celebrations, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and the Fourth of July. Sebastian took pride in preparing the meals while Lexi handled the cleaning. Together, they made a wonderful team and created countless memories that their family will cherish for generations.
Lexi's life changed forever when she and Sebastian were involved in a tragic car accident that claimed his life. Although she survived, losing her husband was a heartbreak she carried with her for the rest of her life. His absence left an emptiness in her heart that time could never fully heal.
Throughout her life, Lexi faced tremendous health challenges and personal hardships, but she never stopped fighting. She was blessed with the gift of a lung transplant, although her road to recovery was incredibly difficult. She endured serious complications and came close to losing her life several times. Through it all, she continued to demonstrate extraordinary courage, strength, and determination. She was a fighter through and through.
After enduring so many hardships, Lexi was blessed with four beautiful granddaughters who brought immeasurable happiness into her life. They filled her days with smiles and laughter. She especially loved hearing their funny stories, sharing their silly moments, and watching their unique personalities shine. Her granddaughters brought a special kind of joy into her world that words could never fully express.
In her later years, Lexi had the opportunity to travel to several destinations around the world, including Mexico, Canada, Australia, Thailand, and Vietnam. She embraced these adventures, enjoying the opportunity to experience different cultures and meet people from all walks of life. Her travels gave her a deeper appreciation for the world and the people she encountered along the way.
During her travels to Australia, she formed a particularly meaningful friendship with Valda, whom she considered a lifelong friend. Lexi once described Valda as her "light in the darkness," a beautiful reflection of the comfort, kindness, and friendship Valda brought into her life.
Our family would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lucaz Valerio for the love, friendship, and unwavering support he gave our mom. He was a special part of her life, and his kindness and presence meant more to her than words could ever express. We are truly grateful for the bond they shared and everything he did for her.
There is so much more that could be said about my mom. It is impossible to capture an entire lifetime in just a few paragraphs, but I hope these memories offer a glimpse into the remarkable woman she was and the life she lived.
Despite the many hardships Lexi endured, her life was also filled with love, family, friendship, adventure, and moments of genuine happiness. Her story was one of resilience and perseverance. No matter what life placed in her path, she continued to find the strength to carry on.
One of the greatest heartbreaks of Lexi's later years was losing her beloved daughter, Bella, to breast cancer. Bella's passing deeply affected her, leaving her with another unimaginable loss. It was a heartbreak that changed her in ways words cannot describe and one she carried in her heart every day.

Lexi is lovingly remembered by her son, Andrew, and his wife, Shay; her son-in-law, Nick; and her four cherished granddaughters, Fynlee, Presley, Penelope, and Piper. She is also survived by her sisters, Marie and her husband, Tom Jorge, and Penny and her husband, Ray Morgan, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Those Who Preceded Her in Death

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each, I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints; other times there was only one.
During the low periods of my life, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said, "You promised me, Lord, that you would walk with me always. Why, when I have needed you most, have you not been there for me?"
The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

A celebration of Lexi's life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared once arrangements have been made.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
