Vernon Lee Tyler

Vernon Lee Tyler, 62, passed away on October 5, 2026.

Born on June 10, 1964, Vernon leaves behind family who will carry his memory with them and reflect on the moments and memories that were a part of his life.

Vernon was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lamb Tyler, and his mother, Rose Lowery Locklear.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Tyler of Parkton, NC; his sons, Nakita Jacobs and Ronald Lee Jacobs, both of Fayetteville, NC; his brothers, Harold Tyler of Hope Mills, NC, and Bobby Tyler of St. Pauls, NC; and his sisters, Lisa Tyler and Emily Ann Tyler, both of St. Pauls, NC.

Life does not always unfold the way we imagine, and family relationships can sometimes take unexpected paths. In the end, what remains are the memories, the lessons, and the moments that become a part of who we are. May Vernon’s family find peace in knowing that his journey is now complete, and may they each find comfort in their own memories of him.
