Rip sweet soul, forever will be missed🥺❤️
Patrica Ann Morin
Patrica Morin, of Jamestown, New York, passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on May 15, 1971, she spent her life bringing warmth into every room she entered, and she leaves behind a family and a circle of friends who will feel her absence deeply while holding tightly to the joy she gave them.
To know Patrica was to know sweetness in its truest form. She was simple in the most beautiful sense of the word: she did not need grand gestures or complicated plans to be happy, and she never asked anyone to be more than they were. She was, as those closest to her say, a ball of joy to be around. Her laughter was easy, her smile was genuine, and her presence had a way of making ordinary moments feel lighter. Just as importantly, she was the person people turned to when life grew heavy. Whether someone needed thoughtful advice or simply a listening ear and an understanding heart, Patrica offered both freely. She had a rare gift for empathy, for sitting with someone in their struggle and making them feel less alone.
Her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her daughters, Selena Carvalho and Isabella Menie, her husband Jonathan Menie; her son, Donovan Carvalho; her mother, Bernadette Morin; her brothers, Ronald Morin and Kenny Morin; and her many nieces and nephews. To her children, she was a source of steady love and comfort. To her mother, she was a cherished daughter, and to her brothers, a sister whose bond with them ran deep. Her nieces and nephews knew her as someone who made family time feel like a celebration. The love she poured into each of them will live on in the way they care for one another.
Patrica's devotion to others extended into her working life, where she carried two jobs at once. She worked at a family owned restaurant, a place where her friendly spirit and natural warmth surely made guests feel welcome. She also served as a registered nurse, a calling that asked for skill, patience, and compassion in equal measure. Balancing both demanded tremendous energy and commitment, and she met that challenge with the same heart she brought to everything else. In both roles, she spent her days caring for people, whether by serving them a meal or tending to them in their time of need, and that says a great deal about who she was.
Outside of work, Patrica had a spirited, adventurous side. She loved riding motorcycles, and there was something fitting about the freedom of the open road for a woman so full of life. She also loved taking trips to different places, embracing new sights and experiences with curiosity and delight.
Yet she found just as much happiness close to home. Some of her favorite moments were the quiet ones: staying inside, cooking dinner, and settling in to watch movies. A meal made by her hands was an expression of love, and an evening on the couch with a good film was, to her, time well spent. She especially treasured playing games with her family, filling the house with friendly competition, teasing, and laughter. These simple gatherings were where her joy shone brightest.
Those who loved Patrica will carry with them a message that captures her spirit: life will knock you down, but be your own warrior. She lived with strength and resilience, and she reminded others that they had that same strength within themselves.
Patrica Morin will be remembered for her sweetness, her generous heart, and the joy she shared so freely. Though her family and friends grieve her loss, they find comfort in the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind. Her light will continue to shine through all who knew her.
Those who wish to honor Patrica's memory are invited to plant a tree in their name.
