I’m so sorry for the loss of aunt Judy- she was a wonderful person and I’ll miss seeing her at family gatherings. Praying for Gods peace for you
Judy Elaine Dykstra Knight
With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved mother, Judy Elaine Dykstra Knight, age 81, gained her angel wings and went to be with her Lord on October 25, 2026.
Judy was born in Byron Center, Michigan, in 1945 to Joseph and Dora Dykstra. She spent her entire life in Michigan, including her later years in Jones, Michigan.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 35 years, Larry, three brothers, three sisters, and many other dear family members and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved son, Charles; his wife, Elaine, of Jones, Michigan, whom Judy loved as a daughter; her daughter, Michele White, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends; and many others whose lives she touched throughout the years.
A hardworking and devoted woman, Judy began her career at Keeler Brass at a young age. She later stepped away from the workforce to dedicate herself to her family after she and Larry adopted their son, Charles, in 1969, followed by their daughter, Michele, five years later.
As her children grew older, Judy returned to work, first at Perpack in Cassopolis, Michigan, and later at Valpo in Constantine, Michigan. Throughout her life, Judy became someone others could depend on for guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. Her coworkers, friends, and family often turned to her for advice, and her wisdom, kindness, and compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
At this time, no services have been scheduled. A celebration of life will be held at a future date, with details to be shared once arrangements have been finalized.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Judy is now at peace in the presence of her Lord. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Those who wish to honor Judy's memory are invited to plant a tree in their name.
