A beloved friend, son, brother, husband, dad, and Papa Bear
Bradley Hollingsworth, a cherished resident of Canyon, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and devotion. Born on April 11, 1955, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and was raised in Texas, Bradley lived a life characterized by his generous spirit and his unwavering commitment to those he loved. He brought comfort and joy to everyone who knew him, approaching each day with a heart full of kindness and a desire to care for his family.
To those who knew him best, Bradley was the ultimate papa bear, a protective, deeply loving presence who always put his family's needs first. He was a devoted husband, a caring son, a supportive brother, and a father whose guidance was a steady anchor. His hard-working nature was evident in everything he did, not just in his daily labor but in the quiet, consistent ways he showed up for his loved ones. He had a rare blend of strength and gentleness, offering a safe harbor and a reassuring smile when it mattered most.
Professionally, Bradley dedicated his life to his trade as a boiler maker. This demanding and highly skilled work suited his strong work ethic and practical nature. Beyond his work, Bradley found great joy in life's simple pleasures, especially when he could share them with family and friends. He loved cooking, finding comfort in preparing meals that brought people together around the table. He also enjoyed the quiet relaxation of watching movies, a pastime that allowed him to unwind and share stories with those he loved. Traveling let him explore new places and create lasting memories, while reading the Bible gave him spiritual strength, comfort, and a deep sense of peace. Each pursuit reflected his thoughtful nature and his desire to connect with the world around him and his faith.
